Why we test every site on a slow connection

Fast office Wi-Fi hides problems. Most visitors open a link on a phone, on mobile data, often with a weak signal. So before anything launches, we load it on a throttled connection and watch.

How we keep pages light

Drawings are made in code instead of heavy images. Fonts are trimmed to the characters we need. Nothing big loads until it's about to be seen.

If it doesn't load on a weak signal, it isn't finished.

The bonus: fast sites rank better, cost less to host and feel more confident to use. Speed is part of the design, not a technical extra.
